Considering Bardsley has been a bit in and out anyway

O'shea, Brown are nailed when fit. I think Kyrgiakos might take that CB position as well. Zamora is in my mind for Ade while for VDV, not sure who fits the bill to outscore Bale owners in the coming weeksTungsten For The Chosen Onehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18423708069560360130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1020279998144194267.post-3519961282921103602012-02-02T18:41:27.303-05:002012-02-02T18:41:27.303-05:00While I believe the Fab 5 is a must have, I can on...While I believe the Fab 5 is a must have, I can only afford the Fantastic Four (Silva, Sessegnon, Dempsey and Bale) with Sigurdsson coming off the pine. I went with Sigy over McClean because I already had Sess. McClean has certainly demonstrated that he can play. Both he and Sigy will be on my radar next year.

I agree with Chris that if you have to seriously rearrange your lineup to get Bale in, with his upcoming fixtures, now might not be the time to do so. If you already have Bale, ride him until he drops!

Both Ba and Papiss Cisse are on my team, with PC as first sub this week. Like many, I believe PC will come off the bench later in the game and get some playing time.

And those around the FPL that said that Swansea won't be keeping many more CS's might want to reconsider. No, Swansea didn't keep the CS, but they were as close as you can come to doing so against Chelsea. Swansea are nails at home and I have both Vorm and Caulker to do battle.

I also have Lindegaard and feel he is SAF's top choice. There is a saying in sports, "You don't lose your starting position because of injury." I believe Lindy is clearly better than de Gea at this point and I have a feeling SAF feels the same way. And with Vorm as my backup, I sleep well at night.Genevapicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04801946040478003671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1020279998144194267.post-2894613183318644552012-02-02T06:58:35.460-05:002012-02-02T06:58:35.460-05:00you made no mention of lindegaard in your post.. ...you made no mention of lindegaard in your post.. what are your thoughts on that battle with de gea?

if both are fit this week, im not sure who SAF will go with.. lindegaard looks more assured when in goals, but they spent big on de gea.

hopefully its andersnsj91https://www.blogger.com/profile/05054582052733083087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1020279998144194267.post-80754696946862311942012-02-02T04:06:12.289-05:002012-02-02T04:06:12.289-05:00As SKehoe pointed out, am also a bit uneasy at you...As SKehoe pointed out, am also a bit uneasy at your pessimism of Gareth Bale. He has vastly improved this season and he also plays more centrally. There are also various elements of his game he has improved on. I also agree with your assessment that he cannot be relied on as Silva but he is far capable of explosive returns especially against weaker opposition. I got him back when Van der Vaart was dominating at around 7.9 and taking into consideration the value I will lose if I transfer him out and the form he is in, he is staying in my team long term unless serious injury.
Otherwise great blog as usual. Keep up the good work!Ramzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18312778225234802957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1020279998144194267.post-89353481617456398932012-02-02T02:00:42.202-05:002012-02-02T02:00:42.202-05:00I enjoy reading your posts, especially the what we...I enjoy reading your posts, especially the what we learned from this gamesweek ones.
I'm a bit surprised you don't think Gareth Bale is a must own player, but we can agree to disagree there.
I was hoping to get Valencia in, but I'm going to stay firm with Sessegnon, Bale, Dempsey, Silva. I have McClean as my 5th and he's done well, but I wonder if I should bring in Sigurgsson since he's on sets. However, having brought in Helguson and having Rooney underperform weekly at such a high price, I think my forward position is more important. Would you recommend bringing Ba back in, going with either Cisse (QPR or Newcastle one), or maybe just switching Rooney for Aguero although hes been hit or miss like Rooney.
Any advice greatly appreciated.Sean https://www.blogger.com/profile/13684259746148856427noreply@blogger.com
